Welcome To Christian Men's Job Corps of Tyler

What is Christian Men's Job Corps?
The purpose of CMJC, a ministry of WMU, is to provide a Christian context in which men who are unemployed, are equipped for life and employment; and a missions context in which men/ employers help men.
Who can be participants of a CMJC program?
Any man who desires a positive change, can be equipped for life and employment through the CMJC ministry.
What happens in a typical CMJC program?
Men receive a one-on-one interview/evaluation to determine what they need or want, then we encourage them to enroll in our employment skills and life skills mentoring and job readiness class.
What makes CMJC different from other job-readiness programs?
-
Participants are encouraged, mentored and educated in several employment skills to help them find long term employment.
-
All classes are led by trained volunteers. A certified site coordinator leads each site, and available to assist the participant during and after their initial job skills mentoring.
How much does it cost?
All of our sevices are free to the participants. Please contact the Site Coordinator Charles Smith at Office: (903)593-8827 / Mobile (903)312-7298
